The NASCAR Cup Series Upcoming race 2020 Super Start Batteries 400 will start on 23 July 2020. Initially, it was scheduled for 31st May 2020, due to pandemic the game was postponed. It will be back this week and will be held at the 1.5 miles (2.4 km) asphalt speedway Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas. The Super Start Batteries 400 is a 19th race of the NASCAR Cup Series 2020 schedule and it consists of more than 267 laps.

Super Start Batteries 400 History

The first STP 400 competition played in June 2011 and Brad Keselowski won the first game in front of Dale Earnhardt Jr. In 2014, the competition swapped dates with Bojangles' Southern 500 competition for the first time, and it was held in May. This year, the game was moved to the Sunday afternoon and weekend after the Charlotte Coca-Cola 600 game, but the Covid-19 pandemic caused the game to be postponed to Thursday night.

The race has played with various names throughout its history. In 2011-2013 it called as STP 500, in 2014 it was renamed the 5-Hour Energy 400 Benefiting Special Operations Warrior Foundation. In 2015 the Nickelodeon sponsored the competition on the television show SpongeBob SquarePants, followed by GoBowlingcom from 2016 to 2017. In 2018 to 2019 the KC Masterpiece and Digital Ally took over naming rights respectively. In 2020 season the Super Start Batteries brand sponsor by O'Reilly Auto Parts.

Kansas Speedway Track

Kansas Speedway is a 1.5-mile (2.4 kilometers) three-ellipse circuit located in Kansas City, Kansas. In 2001 it was established and hosted two NASCAR competition weekends every year. The NTT IndyCar series of racing cars have been racing until 2011. The track is owned and managed by the International Speedway Corporation.
