2021 Monster Energy AMA Supercross round 3 is scheduled to play on 23rd January 2021 at the NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. The AMA Supercross 2021 season-opening race will happen in Houston for the first time in the 47 year history. Also first time in 25 years, the series will take place outside of California, and it has participated in the Eastern Region 250SX class in the first six rounds. What makes Houston special is that it hosted the second Supercross race in 1974. The series first played in the Astrodome and, then in 2003, it moved to Reliant Stadium, now renamed NRG Stadium.
